En nuestra granja los animales encuentran un lugar idóneo para vivir, con un amplio entorno natural en el que pueden crecer, convivir y desarrollarse de una forma respetuosa, con cariño y dedicación. Todos y cada uno de ellos y ellas forman parte de nuestra comunidad y el alumnado es parte responsable de su cuidado y bienestar.
A continuación les presentamos a los miembros de nuestra granja:
At our farm the animals find an ideal place to live, with a large natural environment in which they can grow, coexist and develop in a respectful way, with love and dedication. Each and every one of them is part of our community and the pupils are responsible for their care and well-being.
We would like to introduce you to the members of our farm:
Abbey
Es una perra labrador, proviene de un criadero y la adoptamos con la intención de ofrecerle un lugar en el que se sienta cómoda. Ahora es muy feliz en su granja. Es muy juguetona y activa. Y por supuesto cuida del resto de animales de la granja.
She is a labrador dog, she comes from a kennel and we adopted her with the intention to offer her a place where she feels comfortable. Now she is very happy in her farm. She is very playful and active. And of course she takes care of the rest of the farm animals.
Meera
Es una poni con más de 1,10 metros de altura y le encanta estar en presencia de niños y niñas. Disfruta de sus cepillados, baños y de pasear libremente por la granja.
She is a pony over 1.10 metres tall and loves to be in the presence of children. She enjoys being brushed, bathed and roaming freely around the farm.
Laissa
Es la otra poni de la granja, es más pequeña que Meera, ha llegado hace muy poco y se está adaptando al entorno.
She is the other pony of the farm, she is smaller than Meera, she has arrived very recently and she is adapting to the environment.
Zebra
Esta preciosa cabrita de tan sólo tres patas, estaba destinada a ir a una gran ganadería pero debido a sus dificultades motoras fue rechazada por los ganaderos. En nuestra granja es muy feliz y es la compañera inseparable de Meera.
This beautiful little goat with only three legs, was destined to go to a big stud farm but due to her motor difficulties she was rejected by the farmers. On our farm she is very happy and is Meera’s inseparable companion.
Bala
«Bala que no bala». ¡Esta cabra enana africana nunca bala! Ejerce de líder del rebaño de cabras y le gusta tener el control.
«Bala (Bleat) that doesn’t bleat». This African pygmy goat never bleats! She is the leader of the goat herd and likes to be in control.
Star
Es hija de Bala, nació en el mes de marzo de 2022 en nuestra propia granja. Le gusta estar cerca de su mamá y jugar entre las hierbas y árboles.
She is a daughter of Bala, born in March 2022 on our own farm. She likes to be close to her mother and play among the grass and trees.
Thelma and Louise
Son dos ovejas pelibuey de una raza autóctona de Canarias. Thelma y Louise son inseparables, donde está una está la otra, les encanta comer y curiosear.
They are two pelibuey sheep a breed native to the Canary Islands. Thelma and Louise are inseparable, where there is one there is the other, they love to eat and browse.
Susi
Es una conejita Belier, le encanta dormir, comer y esconderse en su madriguera.
She is a Belier bunny, she loves to sleep, eat and hide in her burrow.
Bonnie
Es una conejita muy activa y le encanta explorar el entorno.
She is a very active bunny and she loves to explore the environment.
Shake
A Shake le encanta juguetear entre los troncos.
Shake loves to play among the logs.
Pinky Winky
Este gatito encontrado en la puerta del colegio, muy enfermo y con pocas semanas de vida, ahora es un gato muy saludable y territorial, dueño y señor de la granja. Le encanta corretear y descansar en cualquier lugar que tenga una buena sombra y tranquilidad.
This kitten found at the school door, very sick and only a few weeks old, is now a very healthy and territorial cat, owner and master of the farm. He loves to run around and rest in any place that has a good shade and quietness.
Lolo, Lola y Lila
Nuestro gallo y gallinas están libres por la granja. Encontrar sus huevos es muy divertido. Siempre están juntas y son muy protectoras entre ellas.
Our rooster and hens are free on the farm. Finding their eggs is great fun. They are always together and are very protective of each other.
